Looking at performance art works of the past, we are faced with the documents of those works, not with the works themselves. It has been suggested that a greater understanding of the works can come from re-enacting the performance piece, as done by Marina Abramovic in her series 7 Easy Pieces.
The students of Yotsuya Art Studium's English Inter-Active class each chose one work which was of interest to them, and, in order to deal more directly with that work, they will re-enact their chosen performance piece.
